Police investigating the case said that both the accused were acquaintances of the victim child. Senior police inspector of Kasturba Marg police station said, ‘A woman had alleged that two minor boys had gang-raped her three-year-old daughter.’ Inspector informed that ‘a case has been registered under Section 376 (Section 376) of the IPC and the Poxo Act. He said that the accused have been sent to the Reformatory.
Let me tell you that a similar case had come up on Monday last also. A seven-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a 16-year-old boy in Roja area of Shahjahanpur city. According to the news of English newspaper Times of India, the girl was playing outside the house. Then the accused came and took him to a secluded place and raped him. Severe injury marks were found on the victim’s fragile limbs. The parents of the child were informed by the police. Police have arrested the accused.
Additional SP City Sanjay Kumar said, ‘The girl has been admitted to the hospital and we have registered an FIR under Section 376 of the IPC and the Poxo Act.’ He said: “The accused is in custody and is being questioned. We do not know the age right now, but he is a minor.
