Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa said on Friday that the expansion or reshuffle of his cabinet would be finalized within three days and the swearing-in program of the new ministers would be planned after that.
Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa said on Friday that the expansion or reshuffle of his cabinet would be finalized within three days and the swearing-in program of the new ministers would be planned after that. He said, ‘I discussed with my national president JP Nadda about cabinet expansion – what to do, how to do it, how to change.’
Yeddyurappa said that according to him he will confirm in two days and in three-four days, a program will be planned for the swearing in of the new ministers. He told reporters here that all things will be finalized within three days. When asked about some people having meetings with him to join the cabinet, Yeddyurappa said, ‘Such discussions keep happening. MLAs will express their opinion, I would not like to discuss this.
Amid waiting for expansion or reshuffle in the state cabinet, Deputy Chief Minister Laxman Savadi said during the day that the BJP high command is likely to state its decision in about a week. Savadi told reporters in Kalaburgi, ‘The Chief Minister has informed the party’s national president JP Nadda about all the related matters here, the decision will come out in four to six days.’
Yeddyurappa said after his meeting with Nadda on Cabinet expansion in Delhi on November 18 that the party’s national president would discuss the issue with other leaders in a few days. Meanwhile, Water Resources Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi has met BJP National General Secretary BL Santosh in New Delhi.
