According to BC Bhartia, national president of the Confederation of All India Traders (CAT), the largest organization of the country’s traders, and national general secretary Praveen Khandelwal, a survey was conducted by ShipRocket between 40816 merchants in different states of the country from September 1 to September 30. Was It has been revealed in the survey that through social media, a new market in the country is developing rapidly. According to the survey, about 17.96 percent of the new traders are using social media for business. While 35.19 percent of the businesses already doing business are using the online website. On the other hand, only 12.04 percent of the new traders are doing business through offline market.

According to CAT’s Praveen Khandelwal, in this festive environment of Diwali, personal maintenance (18.45 per cent) of goods, food and grocery (16.51), clothing (15.09), electronics (11.37), health (7.60), household items and sanitation Items (4.59), and jewelry (3.83 percent) are sold on social sites. It is clearly evident that through social media, small traders are gradually expanding the scope of their business, which is a good sign for the country.
