Since her property is currently under renovation, Sutton Stracke has been living in the former home of her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star Kyle Richards. The infamous home that Kyle Richards bought in the early seasons of the show has yet to be sold. Until Kyle finds the right buyer, she is allowing Sutton to rent the home in the meantime. Sutton is grateful to Kyle for allowing her to stay in the property, which has brought the co-stars closer together.
The fans were first introduced to Sutton when she joined the cast of RHOBH season 10. Sutton was originally brought onto the show as a full-time housewife, but she was demoted after her ex-husband prevented Sutton from filming with their three children. Alas, a lot changed in a year, and Sutton was promoted to a full-time housewife for season 11. In the upcoming season, the viewers will likely get an inside look into her family life and more one-on-one scenes with her castmates.

Last fall, Sutton Stracke revealed on Instagram that she is renting Kyle Richards’ former Bel-Air home, which was featured on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for several years. This is happening while her home is undergoing extensive renovations. Some friends don’t like to mix business and pleasure, but the 49-year-old admitted that renting Kyle’s home has actually brought them closer together as friends. “Kyle and I are very close,” Sutton told Page Six in an interview. “Doesn’t hurt that I’m living in her house, but Kyle’s a very open person, and she’s also very down-to-earth and what you see is what you get, and she’s very nurturing as well.” Sutton’s been under quite a bit of stress after selling her home and sending her daughter, Porter, off to college.
Kyle Richards, who will be a part of The Real Housewives All-Stars crossover, has dealt with all of these situations and has helped Sutton through them as a friend. “I really appreciate everything that she’s done for me. It’s real. It’s not fake and phony. It’s like a true friend,” Sutton said of her co-star. However, the women do have someone else handling all the logistics of their tenant-landlord relationship, so there is nothing for them to fight about. Sutton is hoping to move out soon, but Kyle isn’t so sure about that timeline. “I’m like, ‘My house is going to be ready tomorrow!’ And she’s like, ‘Sutton, your house is going to be ready in 2025!” she joked. Even though Sutton is going through some major life changes, she is very grateful to have a friend like Kyle open up her home to her.
Sutton is more than grateful to Kyle for allowing her to stay in her Bel-Air home while hers is under renovation. Since she moved in, the two friends were able to develop a closer bond that neither of them would have thought would happen. Sutton needs an ally in the group, and the new queen of Beverly Hills is the perfect one to have.
