Former 90 Day Fiancé couple Azan Tefou and Nicole Nafziger are often privy to rumors, with fans wanting to know if they’re still together, engaged, or playing it safe on Instagram. But one of the biggest rumors about Azan has to do with him being dead, one of which was also infamously started by Nicole herself. The couple’s relationship status hasn’t been confirmed by either Nicole or Azan in 2021, with each of them known to take long breaks from social media. But this week, another rumor about Azan began circulating online, just as Nicole returned on IG to make more money.
Trouble’s been brewing between Nicole and Azan ever since the Florida-based 90 Day Fiancé star returned home in August 2020. Since Azan aka Hasan M’Raouni met Nicole in Morocco on season 4, their relationship created a long list of red flags, from cheating to scamming and body-shaming incidents. Single mom Nicole almost married Azan three times, got called out for physically abusing him on the show, and recently, killing him off on social media just to make a quick buck.

In October 2020, Nicole had created panic amidst 90 Day Fiancé fans by posting a photo of her and Azan with “RIP” on it, but later admitted that it was all in the name of click-bait. A few days ago, SoapDirt posted about “90 Day Fiancé fans mourning” the supposed death of Azan on “May 9th, 2021” because of an obituary found online. The article explained that this “report” described family members of Azan being devastated by his loss, and requesting thoughts and prayers to all those mourning his death. The obituary also mentioned that there haven’t been any “official arrangements or fundraisers” established for the 90 Day Fiancé star.
But the source states that this 90 Day Fiancé cast member’s death appears to be an online scam. Nicole Nafziger had sparked rumors of her break-up with Azan in January 2021, when she removed the words “Engaged to H” and a ring and heart emojis from her Instagram bio. Nicole’s bio now reads “Mom” and ”Twitch Streamer,” indicating that’s what she does now for a job. But the gamer girl also chooses to stay away from posting now, after largely being called out for her bogus slimming tea promotions and clickbait swipe up and bio links. Nicole did make a surprise comeback to IG a few days ago to sell face masks made by her mom.
While the infamous 90 Day Fiancé star Azan Tefou stayed away from making Instagram posts apart from the thirst trap he posted in December 2020, he did indulge his followers with motivational quotes and coffee shots from time to time. But that too seems to have stopped, for now, making fans comment things like “WHERE DID YOU GO???” on Azan’s last post. This disappearing act by Azan may have prompted fans to believe the news of his death was true. But given the fact that Nicole still follows Azan and vice versa, the reports of the 90 Day Fiancé couple breaking up may also be untrue. However, some fans do suggest that it is Nicole herself who manages both of the accounts.
