The BDA had received 31,349 applications for allotment of 5,000 sites of different dimensions. Another 3,000 sites in the later stage will be allotted to owners, whose land has been acquired for the layout.
BDA said the final list of allottees can be accessed on www.bdabnagalore.org. It will also be put up on notice boards at its head office in Kumara Park West, Palace Guttahalli.
Steps have been taken to refund the initial deposit of non-allottees; the amount will be deposited to their bank accounts through RTGS. “Allotment letters will be issued to the allottees next week once the festival season is over,” said a BDA official.
After getting the allotment letter, owners can pay the amount in 90 days. After that, BDA will register the sites in their names and issue possession certificates. The procedure will take over a month.
The sites are being allotted as part of a compensation package and land losers can file objections, if any, to the BDA commissioner. The last date to file them is November 11, the BDA said. The final list of sites due to land owners will be announced after reviewing the objections.
