MUMBAI: A ‘kachcha’ bridge commonly used by two-wheeler vehicles in Malad (west) collapsed on Sunday evening, injuring three people.

At around 7.45pm, BMC disaster management officials were informed that a bridge between Malad Evershine Nagar and Lagoon Road collapsed. Three people were reported injured in the incident and have been admitted to Shatabdi hospital.

The local ward office staff and fire brigade officials are at the site trying to clear the traffic and debris.
