Mumbai: Three thousand parishioners affiliated to Our Lady of Immaculate Conception (IC) Church in Borivli attended a rally in the precinct on Sunday evening. Children and elders later put up a variety of skits and musical performances.

Participants belonged to the wing of Small Christian Communities of the parish. SCC groups were founded in the archdiocese of Bombay in 1980. IC Church adopted the programme in 1999 and now has 155 SCCs, each named after a patron saint.

Parish priest Fr Barthol Barretto said, “We had a 3-hour programme on our grounds.”
