Mumbai: Leader of opposition Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil said the Bihar election was a victory for the aam aadmi. “Ever since Modi took over the reins, great injustice has been done on aam aadmi. The outcome of the Bihar polls is being viewed as the beginning of political change in the country,” Vikhe Patil said.

Vikhe Patil said the Modi-led NDA government has completely ignored the demands of farmers, particularly the worst-ever agrarian crisis. “Maharashtra has witnessed largest number of suicides, but Modi has failed to address the agrarian crisis,” he said.

A BJP cabinet member said it was time the Devendra Fadnavis-led BJP government takes lessons from the outcome of Bihar polls. “We will have to study why we lost in Bihar. We have to rework our strategy and provide result-oriented administration in the state,” he said.
