NEW DELHI: Two people, including a woman, were killed when their car rammed a roundabout near Panchkuian Road in central Delhi on Saturday night. Three others were severely injured. Police suspect that the driver lost control of the vehicle.

The incident was reported around midnight when a passer-by noticed the damaged Honda Amaze with a Maharashtra registration number.

An officer said the woman, who was seated at the front, and the driver succumbed to their injuries at Lady Hardinge hospital on Sunday.

Two of the injured have been identified as Mayank, a resident of Dehradun, and Rakesh, a resident of Haryana.

Police have asked the Maharashtra transport department to help identify the owner of the vehicle. A case under sections of causing death due to negligence has been registered.
